Day 1-Paris

  • Arrive in Paris in the AM and meet your group leader

  • Take a walking tour through the Latin Quarter and see historic sites

  • Visit Notre Dame

  • Free time for shopping and dining in the Latin Quarter

  • See the Eiffel Tower at night

  • Optional Seine River Cruise(€16)

Day 2-Paris

  • Start your day with the a visit to the famous Catacombs of Paris (entrance included)! Learn the history of these limestone caves and why they hold the most famous residents of Paris.

  • Enjoy lunch and free time near the Eiffel Tower (ticket to the top optional, not included) and visit Rue Universite for the most famous photo-op in Paris.

  • Next, immerse yourself in the splendor of the Palace of Versailles (entrance included), an emblem of cultural majesty that has anchored the realms of political, artistic, and social significance from the 17th century onward.

  • Positioned just a stone's throw from Paris, the once modest royal hunting lodge was transformed by King Louis XIV into a dazzling testament to the sheer grandeur of the French monarchy.

  • Encounter the awe-inspiring gardens, opulent chambers, and a rich tapestry of history that spans several centuries at Versailles, a vivid homage to the enduring legacy and magnificence of French royal power.

Day 3-Paris

  • Explore the Louvre (entrance included) at your own pace with a timed-entrance ticket. See unmissable and iconic artwork such as the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. Discover Renaissance masterpieces and ancient Egyptian relics, along with paintings from the 13th to 20th centuries. 

  • Discover Montmartre: The Bohemian Soul of Paris
    Montmartre is one of the most iconic and charming neighborhoods in Paris. Located on the highest hill in the city, it has been home and inspiration to great artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Toulouse-Lautrec and Edith Piaf. Its cobbled streets, old cabarets and bohemian atmosphere have preserved their essence over time, making it a magical and romantic place.

  • Visit L'arc de Triomphe and see the tomb of the unknown soldier.

Day 4-Paris/Bordeaux

  • Travel to Bordeaux in Western France by train 

  • Hotel Check-in

  • City tour to see some of the most famous spots in Bordeaux like Palais Galien, old Churches and Basilicas, and the Girondis Monument

  • Enjoy some local cuisine for lunch and free time to shop

  • Afternoon visit to Cité du Vin, a modern museum dedicated to the world of wine. It offers interactive exhibits and sensory experiences, providing a captivating journey through the history and culture of wine

  • Visit Le Miror d'eau, a captivating blend of art, architecture, and nature, offering a unique and memorable experience for visitors to Bordeaux

  • Meals: Breakfast

Day 5-Bordeaux

  • Morning visit to Château de la Brede where we will see the former home of 17th-century writer and thinker, Montesquieu

  • Free time for lunch and shopping

  • Enjoy the area in and around Bordeaux as Mrs. Hasseine shows us her favorite spots to hangout and visit

  • Meals: Breakfast

Day 6-Bordeaux

  • Full day excursion to Dune de Pilat

  • Experience the tallest sand dune in Europe

  • Take a dip in the Bay of Biscay (weather permitting)

  • Take a stroll on the beach at low tide, look for clams and oysters

  • Enjoy free time to shop, have lunch, and take pictues

  • Meet a local who will show us around Arcachon and take us to its points of interest

  • Meals: Breakfast

Day 7-Bordeaux/Barcelona

  • Breakfast (time permitting)

  • Airport transfer and Au revoir France!

  • Arrive in Barcelona, transfer to hotel

  • Guided walking tour of Barrio Gotico

  • Optional visits to Palau Güell (€13) or Sant Pau del Camp (€7)

  • Free time in La Ramblas for shopping and eating

  • Evening visit to Placa Real and Placa Catalunya

  • Meals: Breakfast

Day 8-Barcelona

  • AM visit to La Sagrada Familia, where you will be in awe of Gaudi's most famous work

  • Free time for lunch and shopping

  • Guided walking tour through one of Barcelona's most famous neighborhoods, Barrio Gracia

  • Afternoon visit to Parc Güell, rich with history and art

  • Visit Carrer de Blai for dining options

  • Meals: Breakfast

Day 9-Barcelona

Day 10-Barcelona

  • Guided walking tour of Barrio Born

  • See the Arc de Triomphe Español and the famous mammoth in Parc de la Ciutadella

  • Walk past La Barceloneta to reach Barcelona beach

  • Eat, put your feet in the sand, or even a toe in the water and enjoy the beach, weather permitting

  • Optional Aquarium Barcelona (€27)

  • Finish the day off at Maremagnum for shopping, dining, or sightseeing

  • Evening transfer to Arenas de Barcelona to see an old bullring transformed into a shopping center

  • Enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Barcelona with Magic Fountain show (water permitting)

  • Meals: Breakfast

  • Breakfast at the hotel, time permitting

  • Airport transfer

  • Fly back to El Paso

  • Meals: Breakfast (time permiting)
