City Center

Day 1

  • Meet tour director at Benito Juarez International Airport (AICM)

  • Take shuttle to lodging and take City Walking tour with a local guide

  • Enjoy free time in La Reforma

Day 2

  • Arrive at Chapultepec Castle.  Explore the castle's interior, featuring impressive architecture and various exhibits. Visit rooms that once housed Mexican emperors and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the castle's terraces.

  • Meet guide after the castle visit, head to Chapultepec Forest for guided walking tour of the park

  • Visit the Monument to the Children Heroes (Monumento a los Niños Héroes) located in Chapultepec Park.

  • Head back to Ave Reforma for lunch.

  • Take a guided stroll along Ave. Reforma and learn its history 

  • Optional evening activities such as attending a cultural performance, exploring nearby neighborhoods, or enjoying a nightcap at a local venue.

Day 3

  • Spend the morning exploring the magnificent Teotihuacan archaeological site. Highlights include:

  • Pyramid of the Sun

  • Pyramid of the Moon 

  • Avenue of the Dead

  • Palace of the Jaguars and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent.

  • Explore these intricate structures with well-preserved murals and carvings.

  • Visit artisanal silver jewelry shop making with tequila and mezcal tasting and optional lunch

  • Visit La Basilica de Guadalupe

  • Return for dinner and free time

Day 4

  • Begin your day at El Zócalo, the main square in the heart of Mexico City. Take in the sights of the historic buildings, including the Metropolitan Cathedral and National Palace.

  • Start your walking tour by visiting the Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the Americas. Explore the stunning interior, filled with religious art and history.

  • Head to the National Palace, adjacent to the cathedral. Visit the Diego Rivera murals depicting Mexico's history, located on the staircase and upper floors.

  • Explore the Templo Mayor archaeological site, an ancient Aztec temple complex located near El Zócalo. Visit the museum to see artifacts from the site and learn about Aztec civilization.

  • Head to La Ciudadela Market for a cultural shopping experience. The market is known for its traditional Mexican crafts and artisanal products. Allow some time for browsing and shopping.

  • In the late afternoon, head to Palacio de Bellas Artes. Explore the iconic cultural center, known for its stunning architecture and art exhibitions. If time allows, visit the museum inside.

  • Dinner near El Zócalo. 

  • Take an optional evening stroll around El Zócalo, enjoying the illuminated buildings and perhaps catching a cultural event or performance if there's one scheduled.

  •  Immerse yourself in art at Museo Soumaya.  The museum's collection features an impressive array of artworks, including pieces by European masters like Rodin and Van Gogh.

  • Masaryk Avenue is Polanco's main shopping street, lined with luxury boutiques, international brands, and high-end designer stores. It's a haven for those seeking upscale shopping and a taste of the local fashion scene.

  • Parque Lincoln is a green oasis in the heart of Polanco, providing a relaxing escape from the urban bustle. The park is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll.

  • Discover the history of Mexican handbags at Casa de las Bolsas. This museum showcases a fascinating collection of bags, providing insights into the evolution of fashion and craftsmanship.

  • Free evening time 

Day 6

  • AM shuttle to the Airport 

  • Adios CDMX

  • This trip is planned on a minimum of 8 travellers, 10 maximum.  If less sign up, fees go up.

  • Program costs are $900 per person (based on group lodging)

  • I will be with the group the entire time of this trip for peace of mind

  • The itinerary is flexible in case of changing plans or tastes, but this may change the costs of the trip

  • $200 dollar non-refundable deposit is required to lock in lodging; program costs go up the closer we get to the travel date
